Mg isotope composition in beech forest ecosystems and variations induced by liming: insights from four experimental sites in Northern France

چکیده
Many forest soils are acidic and have very low plant-available pools of magnesium. Past present sylvicultural, nutritional and/or climatic pressures endured by ecosystems can result in net losses nutrients ecosystem function losses. Liming with a carbonate product is an alternative to counteract these degradations but the effects liming on biogeochemical cycling over time dynamics Mg released from products still unclear. We studied isotopes composition four paired-treatment experimental beech northern France. At sites where dolomitic lime was applied, variation exchangeable foliar ?26Mg demonstrated direct contribution dolomite-derived replenishment topsoil tree nutrition improvement: incorporated into biological which allows its retention mid long term soil–plant system. limed calcium carbonate, changes contents observed suggest that applied contained small amount changed after liming, cope particular availability. Lastly, our results highlight high organic layer (humus): fractionation processes occurring within this (mineralization/ageing matter, preferential 26 Mg) could explain singular signatures greatly influence pools.

hydrochlorothiazide (hct) is a diuretic agent which is shown to be effective in the treatment of hypertension. literature reports have demonstrated that urinary excretion data may be used to assess the bioavailability of various formulations containing this thiazide. also hct consumption by the athletes is one of the drugs which should be regulated by world anti-doping agency (wada), because of...
The Surveying of Range Condition and Biodiversity in Four Sites of Northern Alborz Rangelands, Iran
Evaluation of range conditions and plant diversity circumstances can help to rangeland managers who establish their managerial approaches on the basis of ecological capabilities of rangeland ecosystems. Hence, surveying of rangelands was done in four sites of northern Alborz Mt. including western Alborz (Masooleh site), west to middle Alborz (Javaherdeh site), central area (Polour site), and ea...
متن کاملLandownership is an unexplored determinant of forest understory plant composition in Northern France
Few studies have investigated the influence of landownership on biodiversity. Therefore we analysed how the presence of forest understory plant species varied according to landownership in a broad geographical context and assessed which plant traits discriminated between species associated with state, other public or private forests. We also quantified the degree to which differences in soil ty...
متن کاملSpecies Diversity of Trees and Forest Floor Plants in Oriental beech Forest Types of Shastkalate Educational and Research Forest, Gorgan)
Trees are the most important biological elements of forest ecosystems. The variability of the tree species composition inhabiting in the Oriental beech forest, not only forms different forest types but also has a remarkable impact on the species diversity of forest floor plants, due to the existence of trees in the overstory layer. In this research, forest types of an an Oriental beech were ide...
